Grass It may sound obvious, but not everybody knows this - the best thing you can feed your rabbit is grass. Rabbit food such as pellets is really not very good for your rabbit as it contains too much energy (which they don't need or use up) and is also very harmful to their teeth (as they aren't grinding them properly it can cause the teeth to grow inwards). My vet advised me to never feed it to my bunnies and said if I want to treat them, give them greens or carrots. Gilbert loves sweetcorns, which he has now and then, but he mainly eats grass and, another favourite, dandylions. Price: free |
